The Caribbean Princess is going to make a splash this summer – literally.
A “Reef Family Splash Zone” will debut on the cruise ship with the aim of pleasing both adults and kids, Princess Cruises announced in a statement Wednesday.
It will include a “splashpad” featuring a whale that will have “rain” coming out of its fluke, a game zone and more.
“In our latest effort to enhance our family offerings, this newly reimagined space invites families and kids to experience a multi-functional area to engage, play, reconnect,” Jan Swartz, the president of Princess Cruises, said in a statement. “The Reef is the ultimate spot for families of all ages to enjoy spending time together with new water features, recreational activities and lounge areas.”
The Splash Zone is expected to welcome its first guests once the Caribbean Princess leaves drydock in June.
