Halloween Horror Nights Adding Ancient Rome-Inspired Haunted House

It may only be April, but fans of the macabre are celebrating the latest reveal from Universal Orlando about Halloween Horror Nights. The Nightingales: Blood Pit will be the first original content haunted house during the 2019 edition of the event.

The new haunted house was developed by Universal Orlando’s Entertainment team that transports theme park guests into a world of the Nightingales, a terrible group of creatures from ancient Rome.

The horrifying original story will force guests into a gladiator arena as the bloodthirsty nightingales begin to feed on the dead and dying. But with nothing to protect them, will they make it out alive or become part of history?

Halloween Horror Nights 2019 is scheduled to run on select nights from September 6 to November 2. Universal also recently announced Netflix’s supernatural thriller, Stranger Things returns this year, debuting all-new mazes inspired by Seasons 2 and 3.
