A recent survey reveals the locations Brits find to be the most affordable.
While European destinations topped the list in terms of value, Dubai was said to be the most expensive.
Here’s a lowdown on the travel poll.
In a nationwide poll, Spain was revealed as the best value holiday destination.
The sunny destination was deemed affordable by 87% of those surveyed.
Greece and Bulgaria were close runners up, with 85% of Brits commented that you get plenty of bang for your buck with these locations.
Croatia, Portugal and Turkey are other nations that offer cheap and cheerful holidays.
On the other end of the spectrum, Dubai was deemed “poor value” by 72% of participants.
Flights to the UAE can often be pricy, as well as the cost of hotels and living when you arrive there.
Scandinavian countries were also seen to be expensive.
A sizeable 66% of Brits said travelling to nations including Denmark and Sweden can hit your bank balance hard.
