Carnival Corp. brands extend current commission rates through 2023
All of Carnival Corp.’s North American brands will maintain travel advisors’ current commission tiers through 2023.
The five brands — Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Seabourn — had previously maintained the commission tiers through 2022. Commissions are typically commensurate with sailed booking volume per line.
“The Carnival Corporation family of great cruise lines stands together in our commitment to support our travel advisor partners as our industry progresses to the full return to guest service,” Carnival Corp. CEO Arnold Donald said in a statement.
“In honor of the holiday season, where we take the opportunity to think about all that we’re grateful for, I speak on behalf of each of our entire team when I say that we truly appreciate our continued partnership with the travel advisor community.”
In a note to advisors, Carnival Cruise Line senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing Adolfo Perez said, “We hope that this commitment brings you peace of mind knowing that all your efforts through 2023 will be compensated at the rate you worked so hard to earn.”
