Cruise guest explains reason they ‘really didn’t enjoy’ their cruise
A first-time cruise passenger has shared their unfortunate experience on a cruise which left them less than happy.
The passenger ‘Artistic-Ad-8995’ posted on Reddit: “I just took my first cruise and really didn’t enjoy it.
“Everything felt crowded, the other passengers were rude and loud and had no concept of how to stand in a line.”
The unfortunate passenger’s experience was made even worse when another guest pooed in the pool.
They said: “They fished it out, added chlorine and cleared the pool for about an hour and then people got back in.”

Cruise holidays might be popular but the experience might not suit every kind of British traveller.
A guest ‘dbvirago’ said: “I love cruises and have been on over 60, but I understand it’s either a love it or hate it situation. Some lines are better than others and things vary from ship to ship, but 80 percent of cruising is the same.
“If you hated the first one that much, I doubt another would be good enough to change your mind.”

Cruise lines each offer a different experience and guests may have to do some research to find the one that’s right for them.
Some cruises will be better suited to families while others offer lectures for guests who want to learn more about the destination they’re visiting.
If queues are a problem, guests may be better off opting for a small or luxury ship experience.
When it comes to the poo in the pool situation, one guest said the only way to avoid it was to stay away from ships with kids.
‘LeoMarius’ said: “Any time you have a lot of children, you are going to risk having the pool situation.”
Many cruise lines are adult only and these may be the best choice for guests who want to enjoy a peaceful cruise experience.
