Cunard Line reveals new fleet plan for return to cruising
Cunard will offer more than 40 itineraries between October and May in the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
The sailings, ranging from two to 40 nights, mark the return of Cunard’s three-ship fleet: Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria.
The ships will visit 49 destinations and do several overnight port calls, including in Amsterdam, Lisbon, Hong Kong, Madeira, Dubai and Barbados.
The Queen Mary 2 will sail transatlantic crossings and 29 new itineraries, with cruises in Western Europe and the Caribbean sailing roundtrip from New York, Fort Lauderdale, Hamburg or Southampton.
The Queen Elizabeth, which this summer is sailing British coastline cruises, will visit 41 ports in 21 countries, beginning in Western Europe before visiting the Iberian Coast for a series of Spain-Atlantic islands sailings. The ship will then sail in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai and do a Suez Canal transit. It will call in Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
The Queen Victoria will commence cruises in April, sailing Western Europe short breaks and a 16-day Baltic sailing, all roundtrip from Southampton. The ship will visit 11 countries, including stops in Copenhagen, Denmark; Helsinki, Finland; Tallinn, Estonia; and Gdynia, Poland.
Cunard said the cruises open for sale on July 21.
