Emerald Cruises building second superyacht
Emerald Cruises is building a second superyacht, the Emerald Sakara, which is scheduled to enter service in the first quarter of 2023.
The 100-passenger Sakara is under construction at Halong Shipbuilding in Vietnam. The same yard is building Emerald’s first superyacht, the Emerald Azzurra, which will commence sailing on Jan. 28 with an eight-day Red Sea itinerary from Aqaba, Jordan.
Like the Azzurra, the Sakara will sail Mediterranean, Adriatic, Red Sea and Black Sea cruises. It will sail a Seychelles itinerary on its maiden cruise. Emerald said it is taking bookings now for the Sakara.
