Emerald Collection to open resort in Zanzibar

The Emerald Collection will open a new beachside resort, the Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa, by next June.

Located in Matemwe, on Zanzibar’s northeast coast, the five-star resort will be set on the white-sand Muyuni Beach. All 250 rooms offer a cozy and relaxed ambience with a modern, comfortable style.

The resort will feature four distinctively different restaurants, a Beach Grill & Bar and the two bars (the Garden Pool Bar, the Main Pool Bar). Guests will also be able to enjoy free access to the fitness center, including a gym equipped with the latest Technogym machines as well as two tennis courts.
