Ker & Downey bolsters its U.S. sales team

Destination management company Ker & Downey Africa is expanding its footprint in the U.S. with the recruitment of specialist African sales consultants on the West and East coasts.

“We are now starting to see a marked improvement in sentiment driven by the vaccination programs in some of our major markets and believe we are well-positioned to benefit from the rebound in travel to Africa that will inevitably follow in the coming months,” said Lee Kelsall, CEO of the Ker & Downey Africa Group.

The team welcomes seasoned California-based consultant Danalee May to its North America division. She joins Sharleen Smith, the team’s Florida-based consultant, as the second U.S.-based consultant for the North America division.

“The North American market is a high-priority source market for our company. At Ker & Downey Africa we are committed to delivering world-class service to our agents and their valued clients. One way we are doing this is by expanding our footprint in the USA with travel consultants based on both the West Coast and East Coast,” says Marcelo Novais, general manager, North America.
