CastaDiva Resort & Spa appoints The Unique Tourism Collection as Australian Representative
CastaDiva Resort & Spa in Lake Como, Italy has appointed Sydney-based The Unique Tourism Collection (UTC) to represent its sales, marketing and public relations activity in Australia.
CastaDiva Resort & Spa General Manager, Andrea Luri said, “Lake Como has long enjoyed a steady stream of Australian visitors. We look forward to working with UTC to share our story with this all-important market and encourage more Australians to experience the true romance of this extraordinary Italian landscape”.
A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, CastaDiva Resort & Spa, which reopened in March, is considered the most romantic resort of Lake Como, celebrating a sought-after position in Blevio on the eastern shores of picturesque Lake Como in Italy, an hour drive from Milan and just 5km from Como town centre.
The resort’s location makes it an ideal base to explore the charming neighbouring villages of Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Tremezzo and Bellagio.
Villa Roccabruna at the heart of the resort has a vibrant history.
Originally named “Casino Ribiere” in the 19th Century after its first owner, Madame Ribier, an eccentric French dressmaker from Paris, the villa was bought in 1827 by opera singer Giuditta Pasta. Giuditta renamed the property “Villa Roda” and transformed it into a house that resembled the grand theatres of Milan where she found success.
CastaDiva Resort & Spa, the first and only eco-friendly resort on Lake Como, encompasses two lavishly appointed private villas, Villa Norma and Villa Amin and another seven villas that house 73-individually decorated rooms and suites, all surrounded by a botanic park extended over an area of approximately 26,000 sqm.
The original Villa Roccabruna remains the heart of the resort which is linked by a series of paths and walkways throughout the sprawling waterfront garden. Home to the largest spa in Lake Como at 1300 sqm, CastaDiva Resort & Spa also offers lake-front dining at L’Orangerie restaurant serving dishes that reflect a traditional taste of Italy.
To mark the reopening of the resort, CastaDiva Resort & Spa is offering a “Romance Escape on the Lake” package.
Enjoy a candlelit four-course dinner for two with matching wines, relax with a couple’s CastaDiva SPA Ritual and indulge in a gourmet breakfast served in-room while overlooking the lake.
Prices start at $890* per night in a Classic Room.
