Meet, disconnect. recharge through wellness experiences at Hyatt Hotels Australia
Hyatt Hotels Australia announced today their partnership with selected Australian properties and Skye Lifestyle, a renowned provider of wellness and mindfulness experiences. Skye Lifestyle will provide a variety of comprehensive programs of imaginative, authentic and meaningful experiences designed to help guests live life in balance, whilst conferencing at our hotels.
At Hyatt, wellness is an area that is becoming increasingly important to guests and customers and we share Skye Lifestyle’s principles around wellness being more than just fitness and nutrition – it’s about a lifestyle choice
As delegates travel to attend conferences to enhance business connections, it is becoming more evident that these travelers look to create a healthy balance whilst they are away from home. At Hyatt Hotels in Australia, it is our purpose to partner with event planners on achieving the best and most successful outcomes at every event. As the needs of travelers evolve it has become evident that when wellness activities are included into conference programs, delegates are more alert, retain more and are more likely to attend future conferences as they felt more engaged during the program.
Skye Lifestyle is a national corporate wellness company founded in 2009, by Skye Griffiths.
After over a decade working in luxury hotels and the tourism industry, Skye left the corporate world to follow her passion and tailor wellness programs for leading national corporations who value their employee’s well-being. These leading national corporations choose Skye Lifestyle to create wellness programs that produce a healthier, happier and more productive working environment.
Skye Lifestyle and her team of national wellness instructors will be delivering a wide variety of wellness sessions within the new Hyatt Wellness Package featuring yoga, meditation, chair yoga for the afternoon breakout sessions, and fitness sessions offering Zumba, Pilates and boxing. These wellness sessions will be available at participating Hyatt Hotels around Australia.
Through this partnership, Hyatt can present wellness packages designed to engage, invigorate and energise participants during a program. Each package is tailor made based on the Meeting Planner’s objectives of the event and the level of wellness engagement they want included in the program.
Today’s announcement continues Hyatt Australia’s commitment to a holistic health and wellness strategy as an extension of its purpose, to care for people so they can be their best. For example, since 2014, Hyatt chefs around the globe have been championing Food. Thoughtfully Sourced, Carefully Served, a program featuring menus evolved with an eye on sustainable health. This includes options such as grass-fed meats, sustainable seafood and organic fruits and vegetables. Additionally, many Hyatt hotels worldwide are offering more options for travelers to maintain a healthier routine, including healthy refreshments at arrival, curated in-room amenities, increased fitness offerings, expanded menus and nutritious to-go alternatives.
Our shared purpose make Skye Lifestyle the ideal partner to curate unique wellness packages for our guests conferencing at our hotels.
The term “Hyatt” is used in this release for convenience to refer to Hyatt Hotels in Australia
