Pan Pacific Hotels Group welcomes three new Executive Chefs
Pan Pacific Hotels Group is excited to announce the appointment of three new Executive Chefs – Matt Lonne for Pan Pacific Perth, Christian Graebner for Pan Pacific Melbourne and Josh Askew for PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney.

Matt Lonne, Executive Chef, Pan Pacific Perth
A seasoned chef with over 20 years of experience, Matt Lonne was awarded the Australian Hotels Association Cookery Services Award For Excellence three times, and was inducted into the prestigious Australian Hotels Association Hall of Fame in 2013. At his previous role as Cluster Executive Chef in Pullman Cairns International Hotel & Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, he managed 65 chefs and stewards across 12 outlets. In his new role at Pan Pacific Perth, Matt will bring a fresh yet creative culinary style along with strong management experience.
Christian Graebner, Executive Chef, Pan Pacific Melbourne
Christian discovered his love for cooking when he was just 14 years old. He has worked at some of the most regarded hotel brands with experience spanning the globe from Pontresina to Sydney. Prior to joining Pan Pacific Melbourne, Christian was Sous Chef at the Marriott Hotel in the Gold Coast for nearly four years. With a cooking style that combines simplicity with bold flavours, he has already launched a new menu for Dock 37 Bar & Kitchen that will be sure to delight all visitors.
Josh Askew, Executive Chef, PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney
Josh started his culinary career back in 1998, and was recently recognized as Highly Commended Hotel Chef at the HM Awards in 2017. A Sydney native, he was Executive Chef at Swissotel Sydney for nearly three years before joining PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney. During his time at Swissotel, Josh created two dishes that were chosen as finalists for the Ora King Salmon Award in 2016 and 2017. Educated at Ryde TAFE, he has also worked at the Sir Stamford, Circular Quay and Daydream Island. As Executive Chef for PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney, Josh will lead the team and the award-winning ABODE Bistro & Bar to new heights.
