Avani Hotels opens its second Italy outpost

Avani Hotels & Resorts, the lifestyle brand of Minor Hotels, is expanding its European portfolio with the launch of Avani Rio Novo Venice. 

The 144-room contemporary hotel features a glass facade and interiors inspired by the annual Venice Film Festival, with cinema memorabilia and portraits of movie stars.

Amenities include the cinema-themed restaurant 8 Millimetri Cicchetti & Wine and dedicated meetings spaces that can accommodate up to 130 participants. 

The property is near the Gallerie dell’Accademia, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and Campo Santa Margherita.

The launch closely follows the opening of the Avani Palazzo Moscova Milan Hotel and is the brand’s second property in Italy.

Double rooms start at $196 per room, per night, including breakfast and taxes.
