At Caesars Palace Las Vegas, rooms get a new look and diners get a new restaurant

Caesars Palace Las Vegas has remodeled 440 guestrooms and suites in its Colosseum Tower (formerly known as the Forum Tower) and opened the latest iteration of an iconic steak house.

Contrasts of black and white highlight the classically inspired but modern decor in the accommodations. Accents include emerald inspired by jewelry worn by Cleopatra and splashes of Roman red.

The upholstered headboard panel includes inset mirrors; the dresser unit features a glass-front minibar; and the round table doubles as a desk and a klismos, a type of ancient Greek chair. A Roman-style chaise lounge is in the standard king room.

The bathroom boasts marble floors imported from Europe, white quartz vanity tops and accent bands in the glass-enclosed shower. Walls in the water closet feature hand-sketched drawings of various Greek and Roman classical architectural columns.

Reservations are now available.

Peter Luger Steak House Las Vegas at Caesars Palace also opened this fall.

The 8,700-square-foot restaurant, inspired by the original Brooklyn location that has operated for more than 135 years, has exposed brick, wood paneling, oak floors and tabletops, and industrial windows. It seats more than 300 throughout the main dining room, bar and private dining area.
