Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla cooks up culinary offerings
Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla is featuring a lineup of gourmet-inspired offerings and activities for the fall. Beginning Sept. 25, the hotel will be hosting a livestream of Libera Tu Paladar (Free Your Palate). Guests and locals will be able to learn how to prepare Chile en Nogada from the comfort of their own kitchen, led from the virtual instruction of executive chef Guillermo Dejorge.
Then on Oct. 22, Dejorge will lead a pizza-cooking lesson. Attendees will be able to prepare personal pizzas with local ingredients.
On Nov. 6, the resort will host a final cooking class inspired by Day of the Dead. Attendees will learn how to make the famed pan de muerto, while having a cultural lesson on what this special pastry means to Mexico and the holiday.
The Juicery at Wander Rooftop has opened at the hotel, as well, serving a selection of smoothies and brunch favorites daily.
Finally, the resort has reintroduced their evening tasting events, which are held Mondays and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m at Azulinda Cafe & Bar and include everything from local beer and wine to tequila and mezcal.
