Four Seasons Resort Maui offers over-the-top culinary experience
The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea unveiled a new Hawaiian star navigator-led cultural and culinary voyage last month. It’s part of Four Seasons’ Unforgettable Experiences series, which features over-the-top, once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences.
The adventure takes guests on a catamaran excursion led by navigator Kala Baybayan Tanaka, who will share Hawaii’s history on the ocean. Under the stars, she will point out constellations and share stories important to navigation.
“A transportive journey back in time, the experience at sea also includes a multicourse tasting menu inspired by native canoe plants such as kalo (taro), ulu (breadfruit) and uala (sweet potato), masterfully prepared and artfully presented by Four Seasons Resort Maui chef Samuel Taganeca alongside thoughtfully paired wines curated by Four Seasons Resort Maui wine director Aaron Wood-Snyderman,” Four Seasons described in a press release. The tasting menu includes items such as breadfruit gnocchi, kampachi crudo, seared ahi and grilled hee.
The experience starts at $15,500 for up to six guests.
