Hawaii hotels, tour operators say 'thank you' with deals
There’s no better way for travel advisors to learn about the history and culture of Hawaii — and pass it on to clients — than to pay the Islands a visit themselves.
Suppliers are always happy to welcome and host their partners in travel. Here are some of the incentives those suppliers are currently offering advisors.
1 Hotel Hanalei Bay: The 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay on Kauai opened in February after extensive renovations to the former St. Regis Princeville Resort.
Travel professionals with Travel Leaders Select/Internova Group and Frosch get some added benefits for booking the freshly designed Virtuoso Preview Property resort at the best available rate. Agents will receive daily breakfast for two per room and a $100 resort credit. Early check-in or checkout and a room upgrade are offered when available.
Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa: Right in the heart of Waikiki, the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa offers travel professionals who book a four-night stay up to 10,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. This is part of its Mahalo Rewards program.
The number of points increases depending on the room category. The Waikiki City View yields 5,000 points; oceanview to city oceanfront provides 7,500 points; and the city view junior suite delivers 10,000 points. This benefit is not applicable to group bookings of 10 or more rooms and is valid for bookings and travel through Dec. 31.
Perillo Tours: Providing escorted tours to the Islands for the past 30 years, Perillo is offering travel advisors a 15% discount on Hawaii tours that they book for themselves.
The 10 Day Three Islander package visits Oahu, Maui and Kauai, while the 10 Day Special Three Islander visits Oahu, Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii.
There’s also a 13 Day Four Islander tour that visits all of the main islands.
Hawaii Forest and Trail: Also offering a 15% discount for travel agents with an IATA number is tour operator Hawaii Forest and Trail, known for its Big Island adventures to the top of Mauna Kea and to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. One of its newest tours, Volcano Unveiled, includes a visit to a large, private lava tube.
Castle Resorts & Hotels: With accommodations located on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, the Big Island and Molokai, Castle Hotels & Resorts has many options to choose from. Castle offers travel professionals up to 25% off, depending on the hotel and room category.
Kaanapali Beach Hotel: Located on a three-mile stretch of beach on Maui, the Kaanapali Beach Hotel is known for its prime location, its included Hawaii activities and its new oceanfront restaurant, Huihui. Travel professionals with an IATA number receive one complimentary night for every 10 nights booked.
These free nights are transferrable and never expire.
Roberts Hawaii: Longtime tour bus operator Roberts Hawaii offers tours of Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. It’s most popularly known for its Oahu Grand Circle Island Tour, with stops along the North Shore, Kualoa Ranch and Hanauma Bay.
Visiting travel agents can receive 50% off the price of any Roberts Hawaii-operated tours.
