Silverton Casino Hotel in Las Vegas goes for 'rustic elegance' in its remodel: Travel Weekly
To mark its 25th year in Las Vegas, the Silverton Casino Hotel is remodeling its 300 guestrooms and suites with three distinct “design stories.”
“This is more than a room remodel,” Silverton CEO Craig Cavileer said. “This was an opportunity to creatively reinvent our entire hotel operation in Las Vegas. While we are keeping aspects of our lodge theme that our guests have enjoyed over the years, our new rooms and suites will envelop our guests in a new spirit of rustic elegance, providing a unique Las Vegas hotel experience.”
All guestrooms and suites at the Silverton as well the hotel’s Sway pool deck will be closed during the $45 million refresh. They are expected to reopen early next year.
The Cowboy Kitsch Collection rooms will have what property officials describe as “a quirky blend of rustic chic with tasteful modern accents.”
The Rustic Modern Collection rooms will feature natural, aged and weathered furnishings and be reminiscent of the outdoors.
The Refined Lodge Collection rooms will be inspired by the “elegant Rockies glam design and the legendary cattle baron homes found in the West.”
The designs were inspired by the Silverton’s sister property, the Hotel Drover, which opened in the Fort Worth Stockyards in Texas in 2021.
While the the hotel tower and pool deck are currently closed, the rest of the Silverton will remain open. That includes the 90,000-square-foot casino, restaurants, 117,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, Veil Pavilion, Johnny Rockets, Starbucks and Bass Pro Shops.
The Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village and the Berkley Las Vegas in the Silverton Village district remain open.
Silverton officials also announced they are expanding the brand into Pahrump, Nev., about 60 miles northwest of Las Vegas. The Silverton Ranch Casino, with Marriott Springhill Suites, is expected to break ground later this year.
