The property is located on the former site of Sam Lord’s Castle, which had a
colorful history dating back to the 19th century. According to legend,
pirate Sam Lord would hang lanterns along the coast
near the estate, confusing passing ships that would mistake it for the
port city
of Bridgetown and would then crash on the neighboring reefs. Lord would
then
plunder the wrecked ships.
The resort is offering 20% discount on bookings made before Nov. 30 for stays until June 19, subject to availability and blackout dates.
