Whether you love RV trips or vacations that offer an adrenaline rush, these discounts can make hitting the road a little cheaper.
ALLSTATE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Hop aboard … Amtrak tickets go for 10 percent off most fares to travelers who are at least 65 years old.
ATLANTIS CASINO RESORT
AARP members can save up to 30 percent off base rates for car rental at participating locations in the United States and Canada.
Room rates drop at least 10 percent at Best Western for AARP members and guests 55 and up when reserving online or with a company representative.
If you’re an AARP member, Budget offers a free upgrade on your rental car, a waived additional-driver fee, vehicle insurance, and 24-hour roadside assistance, as well as discounts up to 25 percent off rental rates.

Howard Johnson awards AARP members 10 percent discount off the best available rate at participating branded hotels.
Hyatt offers senior guests age 62 and older discounts up to 10 percent.
No need for a coupon at IHOP, another traveler-friendly diner found all across the country. A special menu of pancakes, eggs, and French toast is already discounted for senior diners, starting at age 55.
INTERCONTINENTAL HOTELS GROUP
This sprawling hotel chain offers discounts up to 15 percent on its non-discounted room rates to anyone age 62 and older. Rates vary by location.
LA QUINTA INNS AND SUITES
La Quinta Inns and Suites offers AARP members up to 10 percent off room rates, as well as discounts for guests 65 and older.
This travel agency hooks up with AARP to offer members $100 off select travel packages.
Guests at Marriott hotels save at least 15 percent on room rates worldwide once they’ve reached the age of 62.
MOUNTAINEER CASINO RACETRACK AND RESORT
This West Virginia casino offers its ONE Club members a $50 room rate from Monday through Wednesday, provided they’re 50 or older.
All seniors 60 and older get a 10 percent price cut.
The bad news is that the $10 lifetime pass for those ages 62 and over now costs $80. The upside is that you still get into every national park for the rest of your life for that price, and you get a 50 percent discount on amenities like camping, swimming, and boat launches.
PARK RIDE FLY
The offsite airport parking service Park Ride Fly USA offers AARP members a discount of 12 percent. The reservation discount is available at 150 locations nationwide.
Ramada hotel customers age 60 and older are entitled to 10 percent off the best available rate at participating locations.
RED ROOF INN
Participating Super 8 hotels discount rooms by 10 percent off the best available rate for AARP members.
The president isn’t against senior programs. His hotel chain (or at least the one his kids are running with his name on it) cuts 10 percent off room rates for AARP members and seniors 65 and older.
The airline offers special fares to those ages 65 and older, but also offers its Signature Service personal concierge and club lounge to those who need extra assistance.
