Norse Atlantic Airways to fly U.S. routes to Berlin: Travel Weekly

Startup discount airline Norse Atlantic Airways will make Berlin its third destination from the U.S.

The carrier already is scheduled to fly from the U.S. to Oslo and London. 

Norse will launch daily New York JFK-Berlin service on Aug. 18. Thrice-weekly Los Angeles-Berlin service will also begin on Aug. 18. 

Norse Atlantic has yet to commence flying, but the carrier is slated to begin operations on June 14. The first route will connect New York with Oslo.

Service to Oslo from Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Los Angeles will follow over the ensuing two months. New York-London Gatwick daily service starts Aug. 12. 

Norse Atlantic will operate a version of the ultralow-cost model, with three fare bundles for economy seats on Boeing 787 Dreamliners and three bundles for premium-cabin seats.

Tickets are available on FlyNorse.com. The carrier is not selling tickets through GDSs but will distribute to agencies via NDC-enabled direct connects.
