Thomas Cook rolls out Sleeper Seat on long-haul flights

Thomas Cook Airlines has launched a Sleeper Seat.

On sale from today on Thomas Cook Airlines’ long-haul routes such as New York and San Francisco, the option transforms a row of three seats into a bed in the sky so that guests can arrive on holiday feeling refreshed.

The layout has long been popular in longer flights, with Air New Zealand, Etihad and Qatar Airways among those offering the service.

Thomas Cook promises a comfy mattress that sits across a row of three seats tucked away at the back of the aircraft, cleverly crafted into a personal space to stretch out and relax.

Henry Sunley, commercial director at Thomas Cook Airlines, said: “We always look for ways to innovate for our customers and Sleeper Seat is a UK first that we are really proud of.

“It is a fantastic way to transform your flying experience and enjoy some extra comfort when flying in economy.”

Sleeper seat is available for adults and children 12 years and over.
