18 promotions that will make your next hotel stay more rewarding

Keeping track of the latest hotel bonuses is difficult — especially if you’re one of the many travelers juggling elite status at a handful of brands. However, these promos can be the best way to boost your account balances and unlock awards quickly. This guide covers all current promotions across the major hotel chains, so bookmark this page for regularly updated offers, links and other information about your favorite hotel chains. We’ll also dive in a bit about which offer will get you the most bang for your buck.

The following promotions focus entirely on bonus points or gift cards and exclude regular offers like AAA/AARP member discounts. Best Western
Best Western is currently offering two promotions. Firstly, you can get 2,000 bonus points per stay, which works out especially well if you’re booking shorter stays. TPG values Best Western Rewards at 0.6 cents each, making 2000 bonus points worth about $12. That certainly won’t get you a free night, but it could be helpful if you need to top up your account ahead of a redemption.
Plus, you can get a $25 Best Western gift card for each night you complete in the U.S., Canada or Caribbean, up to four nights. If you complete five nights, you’ll also earn double points on all of your nights.

Choice Privileges
Choice Privileges currently offers several promotions. First off, you can earn a minimum of 8,000 bonus points when you stay three times through May 23, 2021. You’ll also earn 2,000 bonus points for staying at a Cambria hotel during this promotion.

Hilton Honors
Hilton’s running a promotion wherein if you book and stay by Sept. 6, 2021, you’ll earn double bonus points on stays of one or two nights and three times the bonus points on stays of three nights or longer. If you think you’ll have a Hilton stay coming up and even if you don’t – it doesn’t hurt to register for this promotion. You’ll need to book via Hilton with a code for the 2X Points Package.

IHG Rewards Club
IHG Rewards Club currently offers members 2x bonus points on your second stay and 3x bonus points on subsequent stays. Plus, eligible cobranded cardholders have the opportunity to earn even more bonus points. Guests must complete qualified stays by Aug. 16, 2021. Registration is required before booking for the stay to qualify. The previous IHG Stay Longer and Save promotion is still ongoing as well, offering up to 20% back on stays of three nights or longer.

Marriott
Marriott is currently offering one promotion that can be lucrative for those hitting the road this year.

World of Hyatt
Hyatt has several ongoing promotions for travel through the summer. This is great news if you’re hoping to save or earn more points on 2021 travel. Hyatt members usually earn 5X points on normal charges, while elite members earn additional points bonuses. But during the Bonus Journey promotion, members will earn at least 2,000 extra points for every two qualifying nights and a Free Night Award after ten qualifying nights.
If you pay for your stay with the World of Hyatt Credit Card, you’ll continue to earn 4X points before factoring in any elite bonuses. Wyndham Rewards
You can currently earn enough points for a free night when you stay at least three consecutive nights. Specifically, when you book directly by May 28 and complete your qualified stay by May 31, 2021, you’ll earn as follows:
- 1-night stay: Get 1,000 bonus points
- 2-night stay: Get 3,000 bonus points
- 3+ night stay: Get 7,500 bonus points
However, you must register for this deal before your first stay. And you can only earn one bonus per stay. So, for a 3-night stay, you’d earn 7,500 bonus points.
