It may look like a fancy letter ‘A’, but it turns out the world-famous Airbnb logo has a multitude of meanings.

The simple brand logo is synonymous with millions of users across the world for breaks away.

And while it is perhaps widely assumed that the logo is simply taken after the first letter of the company name, one TikToker has realised there is more to it than meets the eye.

Borys Skowron explained there were a total of four meanings to the image.

The “most obvious” is simply the letter A, but the oval shaped hole can also be used to represent “people”.

The TikToker goes on to explain “places” are another meaning – with the shape similar to that of a pin drop on a map.

And finally, if you flip the logo upside down it can resemble a heart to symbolise love.

The video has been seen thousands of times since being posted online, with the caption: “What else can you see in the Airbnb logo?”

One impressed viewer wrote: “One of the most creative logos for sure.”

“Wow, that’s cool,” another said.

A third suggested: “When you open gps and there’s that arrow, it kind of looks like the logo.”

While a fourth believed the logo looked like a roof, “because it’s your home for a few days”.

It comes after another TikTok user was flabbergasted when she realised the Travelodge logo wasn’t actually portraying rolling hills.

According to TikTok user @__chxrll, the logo is actually of someone sleeping.

The viral video that has left people in shock has now racked up a whopping 724,000 views and has got 33,000 likes.

Many admitted they were convinced the logo had shown hills their whole life.

“I’ve been living a lie my whole life,” one viewer wrote.

Another commented: “Well this is brand new information.”
