Amazing £2.3million Gruffalo attraction to open in the UK later this year
A brand new multi-million pound attraction is coming to Blackpool’s seafront that’s sure to wow little ones and their parents.
The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse will welcome beloved children’s characters from author Julia Donaldson.
In a partnership with Merlin Entertainments the new kids' clubhouse will launch in May, with six stories to create an indoor play adventure.

The new attraction has been 18 months in the making and will add a whole new family-friendly range of fun for visitors to Blackpool.
Some of the fun includes The Gruffalo whose deep, dark wood you can venture through at the clubhouse.
There’s also Princess Pearl’s Castle from Zog, and other areas themed around books The Snail and the Whale, Room on the Broom and The Highway Rat.
Play rooms will be available that are suitable for under 10-year-olds and there’s even a special toddler room for little ones under three.
As part of a team with Magic Light and Blackpool Council the clubhouse will welcome guests in May 2023.
Many of Julia Donaldson’s characters will be recognisable and well-loved by kids across the UK thanks to her books and the BBC captions of her shows.

"This significant investment further supports Merlin’s strategic growth plans, bringing further jobs and economic benefit to the local community and wider region.”
