Best country in the world for workers named
Whether it’s the ideal job opportunity, a chance to improve career prospects or a higher salary, many Britons decide to move abroad for work. Expats can even get a higher salary for the same role in some countries.
A new ranking from the expat experts at InterNations has named the best country in the world for working Britons. The team asked expats to rank several important factors to find the best destination.
Expats rated their home based on career prospects, work and leisure, salary and job security and work culture and satisfaction. Luckily for Britons, the top country isn’t that far away from the UK.
The Netherlands topped the rankings with expats giving the country a high score in each of the surveyed categories. Europe dominated the top three with Luxembourg and Sweden rounding off the podium.
