Best holiday destination for 2024 named – and it has ‘spectacular beaches’
As the travel industry steadily begins to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, many Britons are searching for holiday destination inspiration for 2024.

Data experts at SALT.agency, a specialist technical SEO, Data and Content agency, have predicted which countries will grow the most in monthly search volume in the next 12 months.
The team at SALT.agency were able to investigate historical data to generate projections for search volume over the next year, determining which countries are predicted to have the largest average search volume growth.
Tunisia, Mexico, and Morocco are expected to see the biggest increases into 2024 based on the analysis, meaning you still have time to visit them before they get too popular.

Tunisia
Tunisia is predicted to be the most popular travel destination of 2024, with average monthly search volume projected to increase by 41.36 percent over the next year.
A relatively affordable holiday destination with some of the best resorts in North Africa and just a three hour flight away from the UK, it is no wonder Tunisia’s popularity is expected to rise among British travellers.
Mexico
An already popular travel destination, Mexico’s stock is expected to rise over the next year, with a projected average monthly search volume increase of 37.7 percent making it the second most popular travel destination in 2024.
With an array of beautiful beaches for Brits looking for a chilled out retreat, or a number of daring excursions for adventure-seekers – Mexico has something for every kind of traveller.

The second North African country to make the top three, Morocco is predicted to be the third most popular travel destination of 2024 with a projected average monthly search volume of 33.64 percent.

Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic is projected to be the fourth most popular travel destination of 2024, predicted to have an average monthly search volume increase of 30.9 percent.
A vibrant island nation home to the tallest mountain peak in the Caribbean, Pico Duarte, and also the Caribbean’s largest lake, Enriquillo, the Dominican Republic is a spectacular and diverse holiday destination.
Sri Lanka
Expected to be the fifth most popular destination in 2024 for travellers is Sri Lanka, with a projected average monthly search volume increase of 30.19 percent.
