British Airways asks staff to turn in mystery person pooing in ladies room sinks

British Airways bosses are in a rather sticky pickle as a mystery person has been pooing in the airline’s training hub.

Senior staff have asked workers to turn in the unknown mess maker.

They said they were "saddened and disappointed" that someone keeps doing their business in sinks in the ladies' loos at BA's Global Learning Academy, based at Heathrow Airport.

Plus, they’ve warned any staff to turn in the shifty character if they have information on who it is.

An email from a boss to colleagues says: "Unfortunately in the past couple of weeks we have had two incidents of users having defecated in hand wash basins within the TBC 9th floor ladies NE toilets (I will spare you the images.)

"Clearly this behaviour is unacceptable and not something our cleaning teams should have to deal with as they go about their duties.

"Each incident has caused a full closure of the toilet facility and a costly full sanitary clean before re-opening."

He carried on: "We have also noticed needless damage caused to other parts of the building, which causes delays to running our business and costs to rectify.

"As these incidents are considered to be intentional damage, a Security Incident Report (SIR) has been raised and the incidents will be investigated fully.

"Please can I ask that those involved in this activity immediately stop and, if required, speak to their line manager for support.

"If you should see any behaviour that is unusual or out of the ordinary, please let me know, or use normal reporting channels available."

It’s known that the person struck again after the email was sent out though – once again at the training academy that is supposed to help train up crew and pilots.

The academy's website says: "With a rich heritage spanning over nine decades and with our core brand value 'To Fly. To Serve. Today. Tomorrow', we operate to the highest professional standards offering a vast portfolio of flight, cabin, engineering training products and equipment as well as many other training courses and experiences.

"We strive to offer our customers a consistent, reliable training solution, tailored to support their individual needs and delivered in a safe and positive working environment.

"We look forward to welcoming you to our London Heathrow-based training centre at the Global Learning Academy soon."

The centre also has flight simulators to train pilots and will see hundreds of staff passing through every week.

Technical Block C is accessible by a number of contractors and third-party workers and not just BA staff.

A spokesman for BA said: "We always expect the highest standards and we're investigating."

Daily Star contacted BA for comment.
