British expats rejoice as Aldi opens new stores in Spain
Aldi is one of Europe’s leading supermarket brands and in good news for British expats, the German chain has just opened 10 new stores in Spain.
British expats and tourists have shared their joy over the new openings as the supermarket arrives in several top hotspots.
Aldi is expected to grow its number of employees by 15 percent in Spain by the end of this year.
One tourist commented on a social media post, saying: “Love and shop at both stores. The Aldis in Europe are much larger.
“I went to one in Spain and wanted to bring it home with me.”

Spain is the UK’s leading holiday destination as well as a major hotspot for British expats, many of whom live by the coast.
The Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca and Madrid are popular expat areas with many people choosing to retire in the sunny country.
Valencia was recently named one of Europe’s most liveable cities in a ranking based on expat votes.
