British tourists could save £400 on holidays with airport parking tip
British tourists have been warned to book their airport parking ahead of time as they could save hundreds of pounds doing so.
Airports like Heathrow often charge huge sums of money for parking on the day, with charges over £80 per day.
Tourists could end up paying about £580 for a week’s parking in a short stay car park at Heathrow.
However, booking a month ahead could save tourists hundreds with a seven day stay at Heathrow short stay just £198.
British tourists will also pay less if they book into an airport’s long stay car park although they will usually have to catch a bus to reach the airport.
