Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Free Fishing Weekend 2022 means Coloradans can fish for free
Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) invites anglers of all ages and skillsets to participate in its annual Free Fishing Weekend on June 4 and 5.
Although no license is required, all other rules and regulations apply. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a favorite pastime or bait a hook for the first time. The CPW website is a river of helpful information, including stocking reports, bait fishing basics and the best spots to take kids fishing.
If you’re fishing for other savings, kids (15 and under) always fish for free and seniors (Colorado residents 65 and older) can obtain an annual fishing license for $10.23.
