Disneyland Paris opened in 1992 and has been a top tourist attraction ever since. After hosting more than 375 million visits, the park is ready to celebrate its incredible 30 year legacy.

From March 6, 2022, the park will celebrate its 30th year anniversary and guests can expect new costumes, food and attractions.

A brand new daytime show will feature 30 favourite characters with dazzling floats and a unique soundtrack.

Fans’ favourite Disney characters from Mickey Mouse to Donald Duck will be kitted out in their specially designed iridescent outfits.

A new nighttime show, Disney D-Light will feature before the fan favourite, Disney Illuminations.

Disney D-Light will use video projections, illuminated water jets, lighting effects, mist and famous songs to bring an extra touch of magic.

The incredible new show will take place in front of the newly renovated iconic Disney Castle.

As part of Disney D-Light, 200 drones will take to the skies to perform a synchronised display above the castle.

Disneyland Paris president said: “A once in a lifetime celebration will invite our guests to enter a new era where they will dream bigger, laugh louder and smile wider.”

A brand new ‘Gardens of Wonder’ attraction has been added to the park for the special occasion.

In front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, the gardens will feature 30 entirely new art pieces and Pixar sculptures.

The Garden of Asia will include sculptures of characters including Baymax, Mushi and Sisu.

Disneyland Paris employs 30 bakers and a pastry chef to create moments of magic on guests’ plates.

For the special anniversary, the team of bakers have designed several brand new dishes to celebrate.

There will be more than 60 new dishes for guests to try including a vegan panini and a salted mashed potato waffle.

Pastry shop, Les Délices de Minnie, will feature brand new desserts for guests to enjoy, including a white chocolate and strawberry cake called ‘Le Bouquet final’.

There will also be a special Mickey Millefouille and several exclusive drinks including a Happy Birthday cocktail.

Fans will be able to purchase more than 350 new exclusive items in the park’s shops including special ear headbands and sweatshirts.

In a Disney first, designer Stella McCartney has created a new pantsuit look for Minnie Mouse.

McCartney said: “I am delighted to be working with the one, the only, the iconic Minnie Mouse.

“What I love about Minnie is the fact that she embodies happiness, self-expression, authenticity and that she inspires people of all ages around the world.”
