Epic $1.5bn resort is being built next to Disney World with lagoon & golf course

A giant hotel complex is being built next to Disney World at the moment.

The $1.5bn Evermore resort is right round the corner from the Florida theme park – and around 10 miles from Universal Studios too.

Eventually, they are planning to have rooms for 10,000 travel parties at a time.

This will include a 443-room hotel and pool side homes and villas.

Future guests have the option to entertain themselves at nearby attractions or kick back at the resort.

They can spend time at its 18 hole golf course, water attraction or lagoon swimming pool.

Another of Evermore’s main attractions is the eight-acre Crystal Lagoon being built at the moment.

It’s set to include sandy beaches, eateries and exciting activities like paddleboarding, cliff jumping and rope swings.

Alternatively, guests who want to chill out can have a spa day at the Conrad Orlando hotel at Evermore.

They can also unwind with a bottle of wine in rooftop restaurants and bars.

Bosses estimate the resort will be open by 2023 – and bookings are being taken from next year.

They are yet to release information about prices or potential packages.

They should also give people the confidence to travel again.

Despite this, the travel expert does warn it’s likely to take a while for everything to go back to “normal”.
