Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he hopes to give an update to holidaymakers on April 5.

Eurostar’s flexible tickets are now on sale up until February 5, 2022.
So how do they work?
Customers can easily rearrange their trip without paying an exchange fee up to seven full days before departure.
You’ll only pay the difference in fare.
You can still change your booking within seven days of your departure.
However, you’ll need to pay a £30 exchange fee for Standard tickets, plus any difference in fare.
Eurostar urges travellers to check travel conditions before they leave for their holiday.

When the stay at home rule is lifted on Monday, anyone found trying to go abroad without “reasonable excuse” may be fined £5,000.
All of Eurostar’s destinations – the UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands – currently require quarantine and a Covid test.
Forms also need to be filled in for all destinations apart from the Netherlands.
Eurostar itself has strict measures in place.
“Passengers are required to wear a mask at the station and on our trains and to have proof of a negative COVID-19 test,” details the Eurostar website.
“Please note this applies even if you have received a vaccination.”
Britons are encouraged by the Government not to use the NHS for tests for travel.
