Travel advice is constantly changing and coronavirus could be the blame for it.
Now the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has updated its advice for Brits heading to Europe.
It comes after the Government had to remove its online "passport checker" due to a glitch that caused mayhem for travellers.
In its most recent update, the FCDO urged Brits to make sure their passports had met the latest requirements for overseas travel.
Also the update was shared on a number of pages for countries including Italy, Spain and France.
It said: "Check your passport is valid for travel before you book your trip, and renew it if you do not have enough time left on it.
"Make sure your passport is valid for at least three months after the day you plan to leave [the destination]."

The FCDO also said passports should be "less than 10 years old".
It added: "The three months you need when leaving a country must be within 10 years of the passport issue date.
"If you renewed your current passport before the previous one expired, extra months may have been added to its expiry date.
"Any extra months on your passport over 10 years may not count towards the minimum three months needed."
It's important to keep tabs on the travel advice at the moment as the green, amber and red lists are constantly changing.
You can head to the GOV.UK website for further updates on where you can and can't travel.
It comes after border officials were told to "stop Covid checks on green and amber arrivals".
According to a leaked memo issued to staff, officials will no longer have to verify whether new arrivals have tested negative.
