Guests dare to stay at ‘haunted’ Airbnb that used to be old chapel and asylum
In a country as old as Britain, many places claim to be 'haunted' as they were built on ruins from centuries ago, back when the Romans were around.
But sometimes, these buildings have genuine history behind them.
It is this spooky history that creates rumours of ghosts and hauntings.
This is definitely the case when it comes to The Church at Leicester.
This place used to be an old chapel that was part of a mental asylum, which is probably why it attracts so many horror fans.
Right now, the 3,000 square foot former chapel acts as a massive Airbnb with two bedrooms that can accommodate four guests in total.
The origins of the church date back to 1837.
And thanks to this rich history, visitors sometimes want to go on ghost hunts.
The home still looks a chapel from the outside, with familiar red exterior and the stained glass windows.
But inside lies stunning rooms with all the amenities to help you enjoy your stay. It even has a home cinema room and a pool table.
The Airbnb has a big kitchen and even includes a home cinema room and pool table, making it the perfect place for trip with friends.
This place has received wonderful reviews, with almost everyone giving it a 5 star rating.
