Hotel to open rooms you can rent just for a few hours to ‘take a nap’
Weâve all had those days in the office when it gets to lunch time and you already feel exhausted.
A lunchtime spent walking outside or relaxing with a book might help a bit, but what you really need is a decent nap.
After several years of work from home many have even grown used to sneaking a 30 minute nap in during a break.

However, there arenât many workplaces that offer nap rooms â although we highly approve of any that do.
In response to such a need, a new pod hotel concept may be opening in 2023.
Pop & Rest âdevelop and operate spaces for the nomads, remote workers and travellers that look for flexible and affordable places to stayâ.
The idea is for hotel âpodsâ which are much smaller than traditional hotel rooms and are open 24/7.
Youâll be able to take a nap in the day, stay overnight or even do work for up to a week in the pods.
Making them the perfect space for office workers to rent a pod near their office for a nap!
The London-based company started off making nap pods for offices â but now hopes to turn underused hotel and office space into pod hotels.
Snaps show the rooms featuring a small single bed, made up with plush cushions and sheets and a small table. Perfect for a kip.
Unfortunately, the pod hotel isnât yet open â but you can register interest and receive a discount for their planned opening in 2023.

Most of the hotels listed only offer an all-day option such as 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm, but theyâre handy to find when youâre in a bind.
You can also search by the number of hours you want in the room to narrow down available options.
If youâve got a day's layover before a flight or need to be out for builders they can be a good option for some respite.
Some options can be booked for around Ãã60 â so while theyâre not cheap theyâll work if youâre desperate for some sleep.
