Ibiza club where Love Islander ‘snorted powder’ branded ‘dangerously unsafe’
The “world’s number one club” where a Love Island winner was caught inhaling powder through his nostril has been blasted over safety fears.
Davide Sanclimenti, 28, was in Hï Ibiza nightclub at the beginning of July before The Sun obtained footage of him with the suspicious substance.
A spokesman for the reality TV star told the publication he was snorting snuff rather than cocaine.

But the popular club he was in has been criticised by revellers in recent weeks.
The entertainment venue, voted the world’s best nightclub two years on the spin by DJ Mag, was accused by TripAdvisor users of being perilously crowded.
One attendee called Nicola claimed she had a panic attack because she was unable to breathe.
Leaving a one star review last month, she wrote: “My complaint is with the amount of people in the building, I literally could not move at all. I was stuck in a corner and had a panic attack.
“Having that amount of people in a building Is dangerous and I do not recommend spending 75 euros to be squashed in a corner unable to breathe.
"I didn't even stay for David [Guetta] to come on, I am not even bothered I wasted my money because I was more concerned about my safety.
“When I managed to get out they were still letting people in!!! Absolutely horrendous experience.”
Elizabeth N, who also went in June, wrote: “Someone will be crushed and trampled to death in the club. Absolutely rammed. No crowd control. Do not go. Over subscribed.”
Another disgruntled partygoer called Sharon added: “This place is an accident waiting to happen. At some point there will be a major incident, probably a crush. Far too many people, you can’t move, you certainly can’t dance. Awful. David Guetta should be ashamed to accept playing here knowing it is dangerous.
“Also, there seems to be a few men whose hands are a little free and easy, especially in the crush.”
Writing a similar complaint, Sina S said: “When we were at Hii Club on 22.06. we came to see Tale of Us.
“But unfortunately this was hardly possible, because the club was way too full. It was absolutely not possible to 'dance' on the dance floor. You could only stand there densely packed with thousands of others and not enjoy it at all.”
Another clubber, Rebecca, said: “We were very much looking forward to our night at Hi, supposedly the best club in the world. What a disappointment.
“The club looks nice, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say.
"It’s way too crowded, there’s not enough toilets, the layout is confusing, and the crowd is much less sophisticated than other clubs – as evidenced by the two piles of vomit we found on the club floor and the splashback on my legs from a girl throwing up in the courtyard.”
Despite safety concerns, other visitors in recent weeks have loved the experience.
Nathan raved on TripAdvisor: “Partying at Hi was a dream. The experience exceeded our expectations. Impressive audio quality, very good visuals, and above all incredible Djs. A bit expensive but in the end worth it…”
Cheryl Blake also had a memorable experience for the right reasons, and went as far to say it was the best night of her entire life.
She added: “We were a bit worried after reading some of the recent reviews but we can only base ours on what we experienced. We went to see David Guetta & Morton Future Rave and it surpassed expectations.
“Lots of comments about how busy it was and it was no worse than Ushuaia but very well managed. The staff were very professional and pleasant and the show was phenomenal.”
The club was set up in 2017 and prides itself on being the “future of clubbing”.
Love Island star Davide was captured on video in the club’s Secret Garden area three days after he announced his break up with Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu.
The businessman was in the Balearic Islands for promotional work with BoohooMan.
One onlooker claimed Davide “looked shifty” and “took a hit of this powder from his hand”.
Another person who was there alleged the Italian was telling people he wanted a good time after experiencing a break-up.
Davide was also pictured in a different nightclub in the area, Ushuaia, with a fan who was holding a bag of what appeared to contain white powder.
Daily Star contacted the nightclub with the concerns raised in this story.
