‘Infuriating’ plane passenger blocks person’s TV screen during long-haul flight
A plane passenger has been dubbed "infuriating" after their "s**t behaviour" was caught on camera when they blocked the TV screen of a fellow flyer behind them.
From pooing on plane floors to brawls breaking out in the aisles, being thousands of feet up in the air seems to encourage some bizarre behaviour, and one passenger on a long-haul flight couldn't believe what the person in front of them was doing. Whipping out their camera to capture some video evidence of the incident, the passenger filmed the seat in front of them as the person in it reached their hands behind the headrest and entirely covered the TV screen behind them with their hands.
The inconsiderate passenger then started wiggling their fingers around, moving their hands up and down the screen as they tapped their fingers on it and even started fiddling with their fingernails. All the while they acted completely unaware of the fact they were stopping the passenger behind them from watching the show they'd had on.

The video gained attention on social media after it was uploaded to a "mildly infuriating" Reddit community by the cousin of the passenger who filmed it. They captioned the post: "The person sat in front of my cousin on his long-haul flight…"
But the post divided other Redditors. Some slammed the passenger as they claimed they must have known what they were doing. One person commented: "That is some seriously passive aggressive s**t right there. And completely intentional." Another said: "Don’t accept people's s**t behaviour like this. Say something."
Some even suggested colourful ways the passenger could have got back at the person in front of them. "Fake sneeze and flick some water on him," someone said.
A second added: "Spit on him," while a third suggested: "Lick them hands." Another person commented: "I'd have put my feet on his fingers… Have never wanted to take my shoes off in a plane in my life but wow this is infuriating to look at."
But others were able to see the funnier side to the incident. "This is actually more entertaining than what’s on the screen," one Reddit user wrote. Another agreed, adding: "Honestly if someone did that to me I'd be laughing too hard to say anything. It's just amazing." Meanwhile, some believed the whole thing might have simply been a misunderstanding and that the person didn't realise what they were doing.
"It amazes me the hoops people will jump through to avoid interaction. Sure, this person isn't self-aware enough to realize what they're doing, but they'd probably apologize and stop if politely asked," one person commented.
A second added: "Sometimes people’s brain go into autopilot and just forget their surroundings and what they’re doing." But the original poster explained why their cousin didn't confront the person straight away, commenting: "Film first because 'is this really happening?' And then ask them politely to stop."
