iPhone travel hack lets family and friends track your flight in real time
A TikTok star has sent viewers wild with her clever iPhone hack for travelling, which lets your family and friends know you’re safe while flying.
Creator, @live_thedash, who has a whopping 261,000 followers, explained that all you need to do is send your loved ones the airline and flight number on iMessage.
Anyone who receives the text, which should look like ‘easyJet EZY8088’ will see a box pop up on the message window.

A drop down menu will show up stating “copy code” or “preview flight”, reports Tyla.
If the recipient selects the second option to preview they are able to track the flight progress in real time.
This means your partner or mum can see the departure time, arrival time and flight duration so they know everything going to plan while you can’t use your phone.
The creator claimed it was the “best iPhone travel hack you never knew about”.
She said: “All you need is your airline and your flight number and send it in an iMessage.”
The young woman then showed herself sending her dad the flight number for her Ryanair journey to Dublin.
She added: “Wherever you’re going try it next time!”
Fellow TikTok users were gobsmacked by the hack.
One person said: “I actually didn’t know you could do this.”
“I can't wait to use it when I finally go on holiday,” exclaimed another.
A third wrote: “Wow, that’s so cool.”
Many people tagged their friends and family in the video’s comments urging them to send the message next time they fly.
