Last Christmas was a bit of a bust as far as celebrations go due to the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
But, with the Covid vaccine being rolled out and a lockdown exit plan in place this December we could be in for a better time.
And, considering we haven’t been on a holiday in months and didn’t get to enjoy the usual Christmas markets why not combine the two for the festive season?
Jet2holidays is currently running a discount of £100 per person on all city breaks abroad – including during the Christmas Market season.
Are you planning on a holiday this year? Tell us in the comments section…
This means classic festive locations like Berlin, Prague and Cologne could be the perfect cheap break when travel bans ease up.
The firm has also launched new flights for those who want to try the iconic markets of Strasbourg in France.
That means you can bag a number or three and four night trips for under £350 per person with the discount applied, reports the Mirror.
For example, there are three night breaks to Berlin from £332pp (flying from Birmingham), four night breaks to Cologne from £268pp (flying from Manchester), and three night breaks to Prague from £284pp (flying from the East Midlands, or £285pp from Manchester).
All prices were searched for based on two adults sharing a room and travelling in the first two weeks of December.
To get the discount you’ll need to book by March 31 when the sale ends, but you can secure the package of your choice with just a £60 per person deposit.
We can’t think of a better way to give your kids a magical Christmas than ice skating, hot chocolates, gingerbread and fun stalls.
The same discount also applies on all holiday packages and not just Christmas market locations.
