Docked in Clippers Quay, just a 10 minute walk from Media City, Jacamar is a 130ft yacht that ticks all the boxes for a luxury city break. With room for up to ten guests to enjoy feeling like a millionaire at a fraction of the price, this on-water accommodation is decked out with the finest interior features.

As reported on 2Chill, inside the boat is a 800sqft lounge area with comfortable Mathew Holton sofas and a kitchen fitted with stylish Smeg appliances.

Dine like a film-star around the bespoke oval glass and granite dining table before enjoying a romantic evening at the wheelhouse with panoramic windows that operates as a snug TV lounge.

Jacamar is owned by one of Manchester’s most prolific bar and club interior designers, Paul Astill, so you can expect no expense spared in creating an unforgettable stay.

Three ensuite cabins are available for overnight stays, all finished to a high quality standard with fittings from Villeroy & Boch and Phillipe Starck.

And the reviews by previous guests reflect the yachtsman’s high standards currently scoring a 4.94 stars out of five on AirBnb.

One person said: “Amazing weekend on this yacht. Stayed with a group of friends for a weekend away the space was huge, luxury bedrooms, perfect upper deck terrace for when the sun was out, co-op literally around the corner very ideal. Couldn’t fault the stay!”

Another review reads: “Stayed at the Jacamar with some friends. The large table was perfect for our poker game. Really top notch classy place right in the thick of it in Salford. Couldn’t recommend more highly.”

Anyone looking for an intimate wedding ceremony can also tie the knot onboard, but the owners do note that stags and hen-dos are not permitted.

But be ready to splash the cash to experience Jacamar in all its glory, with one night costing you £340 and a weekend stay in November jumping to £545 a night.

With more of us looking closer to home for our holidays this year, we’ve been turning to properties a little bit different to add some excitement to our staycations.
