‘Lovely’ British beach has the ‘softest sand’ with ‘superb views’
The UK could be in for an Indian Summer so there’s still time to make it to the beach for any Britons who missed out in August.
From Cornwall to Yorkshire, the UK has several stretches of gorgeous coastline, perfect for a sunny September staycation.
One of the UK’s best beaches is in Dorset and it even has one of Britain’s only official nude sunbathing areas.
Studland Bay is a vast area of sandy beaches and heathland with incredible views of Old Harry Rocks and other local landmarks.
It’s also a protected habitat of several rare species including reptiles, birds and invertebrates.

Another tourist joked: “Horrible, don’t visit ever! Have to say this because this place is so good that I want to keep it to myself! Love this place and visit here twice a year.”
‘Shellpitt1982’ said: “We visited Studland Beach a couple of times this week during our holiday and it is by far the best beach in Dorset. Kids didn’t get out of the sea for hours!”
Studland Bay is managed by the National Trust and there’s a carpark by the beach for tourists, although this can get busy during peak hours.
The beach stretches for four miles and the naturist area is clearly signposted. At Knoll Beach Shop, tourists can rent watersports gear or beach equipment.
Gorgeous Studland was even the inspiration for picturesque Toyton in Enid Blyton’s popular Noddy.
If Studland’s a little far for a staycation, why not check out a charming seaside town in Wales or an award winning spot in Northumberland?
