Most relaxing staycation destination in the UK named
While some Britons want adventure or to party on their summer holiday, others just need some peace and quiet.
According to travel experts at TRIP, searches have increased for “quiet holiday destinations” in the UK.
The team ranked the top destinations based on nearby spas, art galleries, bookstores, cafes and nature.
Many of the top destinations are slightly under the radar, so tourists won’t need to deal with huge crowds.
The winning spot was a “lovely” location in the Midlands with “rolling hills” as far as the eye can see.

The Malvern Hills were named the most relaxing destination for a staycation this year and could be the ideal spot for hiking.
A tourist ‘Ishimiagi’ wrote on Tripadvisor: “The views from the top of the hills are lovely, of the rolling hills on the horizon and different angles of Malvern.”
‘Kelly C’ wrote: “Beautiful picturesque views. Amazing place to visit time and time again. Highly recommend it to anyone.”
