Parents slammed as ‘inconsiderate’ after toddler pulls man’s ears on flight

A man has shared a video of himself on TikTok grumbling as the child sitting behind him grabs at his head and ears.

The creator, Brian, @bdfagan, wrote that “kids on planes are the worst” and showed the youngster. Bothering him on a flight.

In the clip, Brian sits in an economy seat as behind him a toddler grabbed at his ear and head pulling at his earbuds.

Brian moved the child’s hands away from him, but the little one kept coming back to grab him again.

In an over voice, Brian noted: “I can’t believe these parents let their baby do this the entire flight. I tried to be nice. What would you do?”

The clip quickly went viral with over 127,000 likes and almost 1000 comments.

Some commenters questioned whether the toddler was Brian’s child but he wrote: “I have twins but this is not one of my twins.”

Many parents chimed in to say that the behaviour was unacceptable – even though it can be hard to keep children under control while on a flight.

One mother wrote: “Mom of two small boys, this isn’t ok and it’s ok for you to tell the parents that. They’re being incredibly inconsiderate.”

Another parent added: “I have kids myself. The parents are being inconsiderate. I wouldn’t let my kids mess with the person’s ears in front of them.”

Offering advice a frequent flyer added: "I usually make a scary face and scare them lol.”

“I would complain to the flight attendant I would allow my kids to do that never,” noted another.

“I would yell at the parents,” exclaimed a commenter.

Lots of people argued that the toddler was actually his third son, rather than one of his twin children.

But, it raises lots of questions about what kids should be able to do when flying.

One TikTok user added: “I have a toddler. I would never let him touch a stranger.”

Another added: “It’s hard traveling with kids but I wouldn’t allow this.

“You would have to listen to some screaming but no touching.”
