As members of the Royal Family, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are all likely to experience some perks most other children do not. However, they must also follow strict rules and protocols which are not applicable in daily life for the majority of citizens.

While most newborn babies are not expected to fly, and many do not go on holiday until much later in their life, for the children of the Royal Family things are a little different.

In fact, all three of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge’s children had to be prepared to jet off around the world from the minute they were born.

This is largely due to the fact their parents, as future King and Queen, often fly around the world on very important duties.

From Royal Tours to special appearances, Kate and William are often travelling, and they take their young children with them.

This means the children need to have a passport from birth.

In many cases, the royal children embarked on royal tours long before they could even walk or talk.

Prince George, for example, was whisked away on tour to New Zealand with his parents in April 2014.

At this time he was aged just nine months old.

It was on this royal tour the young prince achieved a very important milestone for Royal Family members.

His first “royal wave” was captured on camera by Sky News.

Princess Charlotte also headed off on a royal tour when she was very small.

In September 2016 she joined her older brother, along with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, on a royal tour of Canada.

At this time Princess Charlotte was 16 months old.

According to the BBC, it was on this tour she also achieved an important milestone.

She was recorded speaking for the very first time, saying “pop” at the balloons which filled the Government House in Victoria.

However, unlike his two older siblings, Prince Louis has yet to head on a royal tour with his parents.

Born on April 23, 2018, the prince is now two-years-old.

Though William and Kate have both been on tour since his birth, with the duo following in the Duke’s mothers footsteps in Pakistan during October 2019, the royal couple decided to leave their children at home.

The decision was made largely due to the fact Prince George and Princess Charlotte were now in education at Thomas’ Battersea school.

However, given how often Prince William and Kate must make overseas trips, it is highly likely Prince Louis will eventually get his chance to enjoy a royal tour.
