Prince William and Princess Kate have four go-to summer holiday destinations
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have officially finished their studies for the summer break and have already been spotted on an official outing with their parents.
Pictured as a complete family unit at the Royal Air Tattoo in Fairford yesterday, the Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to spend much more time with their children throughout the summer.
Each year the couple has swapped London for a more rural setting to get away, and almost always follow up their trip with a visit to Balmoral in Scotland.
The family would join the late Queen Elizabeth II at the impressive countryside estate in August, though this year their plans could change.
As the first summer without William’s grandmother around, 2023 could mark a new holiday tradition for the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children.

When it comes to their destination of choice, the royals are known to stick to tradition. Last year, the Prince and Princess of Wales spent some time in their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, before heading further afield for a coastal staycation.
The couple enjoyed a two-week trip to the Isles of Scilly with their children, during which they celebrate Prince George’s ninth birthday.
Joined by their beloved pet dog, Orla, the family of five spent time on the island of Tresco which is owned by King Charles.
In true royal style, the Prince and Princess travelled to the car-free destination by helicopter and were believed to have stayed at Dolphin House, according to Cornwall Live.

In the past, Princess Kate and Prince William have been known to head further afield to Mustique, a private island in the Caribbean.
The family stayed in a luxury villa back in August 2019, when they celebrated Prince George’s sixth birthday on July 22.
Joined by Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton, the royals were able to enjoy the exclusive spot in private.
The family first visited Mustique in 2008 and has been returning ever since.
Their subsequent trip to Balmoral may come later in their summer break this year, as the official website for the residence has confirmed that it will remain open to the public for an additional two weeks.
The decision was made by King Charles to bring new revenue into the estate, according to the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden.
While there are no confirmed plans, this may mean that Kate, William, and their children will head on holiday towards the end of July rather than in the middle of the month.
And with the royal couple expected to appear at Wimbledon later today, it would make sense that they delay their holiday plans by a week or two.
