Ryanair has launched a ‘Winter Wonderland’ sale offering flights from €7.99 each way, for travel between November 20 and March 31.
If you fly from Kerry Airport to Frankfurt Hahn on November 19, however, you can jet away for even less – €5.86 one-way.
The sale is available to book until midnight tonight.
Inevitably, routes at the €7.99 rate are limited. As we publish, they include Dublin to Santander, Brussels Charleroi and several UK airports, as well as Ireland West (Knock) to Bristol and East Midlands, and Kerry to London Stansted.
However, a host of fares are available from €9.78 each-way, including Dublin to Vienna, Hamburg, Cologne and Luxemburg, and flights to Faro are available from €12.73 each-way, according to the airline website (ryanair.com).
The sales come as airlines move into their winter schedules.
Passengers flying with Ryanair have been advised that, since November 1, the airline has been operating a new baggage policy which no longer permits ‘Non-Priority’ customers to carry a free larger bag into the cabin.
However, a grace period of one month (November) is now being afforded before the new hand luggage policy is fully enforced.
Ryanair recently launched its summer 2019 schedule, which sees 15 new services announced from Dublin, Cork and Shannon.
It has since added new routes between Dublin and Bodrum and Ireland West (Knock) and Cologne, both of which will launch next year.
In other airline sales, Aer Lingus is offering midweek city break flights from €25.99 (for travel to April 10), while WOW air has basic fares to Iceland from €49.99 each-way.
