Budget airline Ryanair has today launching a ‘Buy One Get One Free’ offer on 1,600 routes across its network, for travel from September 25 until December 14 2020. The offer is the first one in Ryanair’s history, giving friends and relatives the chance to fly for free. The offer applies to Value Fare bookings with more than one passenger, travelling on selected routes to certain destinations.

Some of the designations on offer from the UK include Dublin in Ireland, Sofia in Bulgaria, Krakow and Szczecin in Poland, Malaga in Spain, Lisbon in Portugal, Berlin in Germany, Riga in Latvia and Budapest in Hungary.

Holidaymakers should be aware that some of the destinations available are not on the UK’s travel corridor list.

This means that those returning to the UK may have to isolate for 14 days.

Currently, Spain, Portugal, Hungary and Bulgaria are on the quarantine list.

The UK’s travel advice is being reviewed on a weekly basis, with announcements being made regarding the travel corridor list on a Thursday evening.

Holidaymakers are being urged to check entry requirements and restrictions before they leave.

However, customers must also be aware that the offer cannot be combined with other special offers, discounts or promotions.

The promotion also doesn’t apply to Spanish subsidised tickets.

And if you’re wondering whether you can make changes to your booking, you can but you will be charged a Flight Change fee.

Keen holidaymakers better be quick as the offer will end at midnight tonight.

Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Alejandra Ruiz, said: “For the first time in Ryanair history, we have a ‘Buy One Get One Free’ offer landing.

“Anyone would be crazy to miss it! Book today for travel from September 25 until December 14 2020 across 1,600 routes and get a second ticket on the same flight for free.

“Customers can book this unmissable deal to top holiday and city break destinations across Europe, bringing their family or close friends on a well-needed autumn/winter escape.

“To avail of these special offer customers must be quick and visit the Ryanair.com website to book their flights before midnight, tonight September 24.”

It comes as Ryanair issued an important update yesterday regarding October and November bookings.

Ryanair flights can now be changed for free until the end of November, it was announced yesterday.

The budget carrier is extending its fee waiver so that customers will be able to change their flights for free in the coming weeks.

Unlike other airlines, Ryanair has not adjusted its schedule when the government changes its travel restrictions.

Ryanair said it now expects its capacity next month to fall from 50 percent to approximately 40 percent of its October 2019 levels.

Ryanair said in a statement that the capacity reductions “were necessary due to damage caused to forward bookings by continuous changes in EU Government travel restrictions and policies, many of which are introduced at short notice.”
