Shrek fans can visit the ogre and Santa in fun grotto experience this December

If there's two things we love, then it's Shrek and Santa.

And luckily for us, they're being combined for a spectacular new festive experience this Christmas.

London's South Bank has a new guest coming to town, as Shrek’s Grotto will return to Far Far Away this festive season.

For kids and grown-ups looking for some much-needed yuletide cheer, the Big Green Ogre has teamed-up with Santa to create a festive misadventure the whole family will love.

Guests who visit Shrek’s Adventure! London on selected days from Saturday 4th December to Friday 24th December will get the chance to venture through the grotto and pose for a picture with Santa before being gifted a candy treat made by the elves themselves.

Shrek has also been getting in the festive mood and guests can pose with Far Far Away’s greatest hero, who will be adorning his very special Christmas outfit – so ‘Shrek-tacular’ you won’t want to miss it!

The adventure to Far Far Away begins as you board a magical 3D flying bus, with the loveable, yet mischievous Donkey.

Guests will journey through the slimy Swamp, then down Drury Lane and even pop by the Muffin Man’s house, as you become part of an incredible interactive story featuring some of your favourite Dreamwork’s characters including Puss in Boots, Rumpelstiltskin and Pinocchio.

What's even better is that Shrek’s Grotto is included in the standard ticket price.
